Jodi Moore writes: The Systems Biology Flow Cytometry Facility is delighted to announce the arrival of our new Stratedigm S1400 benchtop analyzer.  This instrument is equipped with four solid state lasers (405, 488, 561, and 640 nm) and in its current optical configuration can detect 8 fluorescence and 2 scatter signals. In late Fall this configuration will be updated to facilitate detection of 14 colors. In addition, we will be a beta test site for the plate loader/plate hotel adaptation, which will enable robotic integration and automated analysis of large numbers of plate-based samples.
