Welcoming Roland Eils

November 3, 2010 § Leave a comment

A quick note to introduce our latest sabbatical visitor, Roland Eils.  Roland is one of the founding directors of BioQuant, Heidelberg University’s center for systems biology, and heads the iBioS (Integrative Bioinformatics and Systems Biology) group there. Roland is already happy to be here because he’s realized that he’s escaped (temporarily) from all his management tasks.
He’s planning to work with the Sorger lab to explore the spatial regulation  of cell death, and he’s also excited to talk to many of you about the design and engineering of signaling pathways.

He’ll be here for at least 2 months, possibly longer. Please say hello when you see him.
