Assistant Professor search, U. Washington

As part of its continued expansion, the Department of Genome Sciences at the University of Washington plans to hire a full-time faculty at the rank of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, tenure-track in 2011. Our department, with its mix of young and established faculty representing a variety of disciplines, has become an incredibly exciting place to do science.  Our search is broad-based, seeking exceptional candidates in any of the following areas: genomic analysis of model organisms and humans, technology development and computational biology across all levels including sequence, expression, proteomics, network, and genetic analysis.  While we have had a strong response to our ad, we want to be sure that key people are aware of this opportunity and that all of the top candidates are considered.

The deadline for application will close in two weeks, Dec 15th.  Candidates should email their curriculum vitae and statement of research and teaching interests, and arrange to have three signed letters of reference sent to:
