Watching words come and go

Those of you who were at JB Michel’s thesis defense will remember that he talked about a cool algorithm he had developed with Martin Nowak and Erez Lieberman Aiden, and others, to search the books and other literature available through Google and track the number of times a word was used in a given year.  The tool is now available through Google labs and has been written up all over.  Check it out!
