Going quiet(ish) for a while

March 14, 2011 § Leave a comment

Posts are going to be rarer around here for a week or so — I’m in Israel for the first ever joint Weizmann/Harvard meeting on Systems Biology.  The relationship has been incubating for a while, with visits back and forth and trainees from one place ending up at the other, and so on.  The meeting is going well so far, and I’m definitely enjoying getting a broader perspective on interdisciplinary science at the Weizmann Institute.  Oh, and it’s a beautiful campus, the weather is perfect, and our hosts are wonderful (sorry to make you jealous, but it’s true).  The building on the left is where we had dinner on the first night — on top of the old particle accelerator building.  Very cool, especially at night when it’s lit up in an eerie blue.
