Abstract
“Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!”

I will discuss the origin of Jabberwocks and other chordates from the perspective of hemichordate development.
