Assistant Professor position, U. Penn

This one is a little late — the date for starting to review applications is today — but since it just showed up in my in-box I’m assuming they’re still interested in hearing from you. As a side note, this ad came as a PDF, which is always a bit of a nuisance since you have to extract the text from the PDF to get it into the blog format. This one had a problem I’ve never seen before: copy and paste produced six separate columns of text, about 10 characters long. After cutting and pasting for a while in an attempt to reassemble the ad, I finally gave up and retyped it. Does anyone know why this happened?
Also, the URL supplied in the ad crashed my browser, so I am offering you a different one. Select “Cell and Developmental Biology” in the Departments drop-down menu. Never say that I’m not dedicated to your career.
