Post-doc position in synthetic biology, Penn State

The Maranas Lab and Salis Lab at Penn State University are recruiting a postdoctoral scholar to redesign bacterial central metabolism for metabolic engineering applications, using an integrated computational-experimental approach.  We seek highly motivated and productive candidates with a Ph.D. degree in the engineering or biological sciences (chemical engineering, bioengineering, biophysics, molecular biology, genetics) as well as 3-5 years of experience in molecular cloning and microbiology. Strong analytical and quantitative skills are required.
